New Additions to the Lavender Family...
Myself and Billy have some news that we would like to share. We have 2 new additions to the family that will be joining us on Friday 14th June...
Simba and Scooby Lavender!

Simba and Scooby are 8 week old Golden Retriever puppies. Simba is white with streaks of gold and Scooby is more golden with some hints of white fur.
Last year Billy's dog Milo (also a GR) sadly passed away at the age of 10😢 and Billy's mum has been really missing having a dog in the house. So we decided to surprise her and buy a puppy. We looked for a few weeks for a suitable breeder until we found the lovely Kerry. We made the drive to Ipswich on the 12th May to see a litter of 7 puppies - 3 boys and 4 girls. We had already decided that we wanted a male puppy due to past experience. When we arrived, I naturally fell in love with ALL of the puppies.
After playing and cuddling with the 3 boys for a while, Simba chose Bill. He sniffed around him for a few minutes before climbing onto his lap and falling asleep. We knew instantly that he was our boy. We paid the deposit and agreed an "adoption" date with Kerry.
The next day whilst I was at work, Billy called and asked how I would feel about 2 dogs. I was over the moon and quickly talked him into getting the second dog! Later that night we drove all the way back to Ipswich to choose the second dog. We again wanted a male. We picked Scooby as he was more golden and looked like Simba's twin whereas the other pup was pure white. Scooby and Simba was also playing together whilst the other male was doing his own thing.
So in the space of 24 hours, I had become a mother of 2. Well sort of, Simba is our dog and Scooby is Julie's dog.
Kerry has been kind enough to send us updates of the pups. These were the pups at 6 weeks:

She also sent us these photos of the whole litter after their vet check-up
We were going to keep them a secret until the day we brought them home but we were far too excited and told Julie the same night that we picked Scooby😄. At first she completely freaked out because she didn't know how we was going to cope with 2 puppies. After a couple of days staring at the photos, she soon came around and is now so excited for the boys to arrive.
We already have the house set up with their beds, toys and personalised food bowls thanks to Kustoms & Keepsakes on facebook!
I will keep you all updated with photos of Simba and Scooby once they come home. I'm sure I will be asking for lots of advice on training in the very near future!
